How To Establish Gas Service
Call them at 770-948-1841 or visit Their main office. A social security number is required to establish new service. A minimum of a $100.00 deposit is required or a letter of good credit from another utility company showing 12-months of satisfactory payment history to the account. Correct address of the property that service is being applied for. Previous owner or tenants name (if available).
For a refund of deposit when a customer terminates gas service with Austell Natural Gas, the deposit will be applied toward any current or past due balance. The outstanding credit balance will be refunded to the customer. After being a customer for 24 months and having established a satisfactory credit rating with the Gas System, the deposit will be credited to the first billing after the 24 months.
Austell Natural Gas Billing
Bills can be paid online using your credit card, debit card or ATM card on their secure server. You must have your account number and billing zip code to access the online payment server. The convenience fee for this service at the present time is $3.75. This fee is charge by the third party payment processor.
Customers may submit payments by mail in the envelope provided with their monthly bill. They highly recommended that customers mail their payment 4-5 business days prior to the due date in order to avoid any late fees or disconnect fees. Cash should not be sent through the mail.
Customers may bring payments into their main office during business hours: 8:00am – 4:45pm, Monday – Friday. There is also a night depository, located on the east side of the building, available for after hours payments. Cash should not be put into the night depository.
Payments may be made via telephone by calling 770-948-1841, option 2. The system will walk you through all the necessary steps in order to pay your bill.
